About Me

Have been a geologist for over 30 years involved with mineral exploration and mining, petroleum exploration, and environmental site assessments, site remediations, and permitting. Am currently involved with environmental permitting for the mining industry but may retire soon and devote my efforts to my ever-growing gemstone collection. I'm not certain what I'll do with these thousands of stones, but I may end up making jewelry. Gemstones, particularly alexandrite and tourmaline, are my passion.
